dvd conflicts

every time i play/burn using my dvd drive, whenever the activity light comes on, the sound gets choppy. this happens if I play a cd, or if i am burning audio to the computer, while listening to something else. the comp is showing no resource conflict.

The mechanical noise from the DVD drive is most likely being picked up by your audio processor/connections.

i went in and moved things around. Still have the problem. Do you know another fix? I also have another desktop that is way more cluttered on the inside than the pc with the problem. I am dyin here.
