So I yanked the DVD/CD drive from my machine running Vista and put it in the one running Win7.
The one running Win7 had a SATA drive in it, the replacement is IDE.
The drive shows up in BIOS and I have it set as the primary boot device, then the the hard drive.
However, the drive doesn't show up in My Computer, or Device Manager, in Windows (will open/close though).
I do have an "unknown device", location: on Intel(R) ICH9R LPC Interface Controller - 2916, not sure if thats it.
I've tried different jumper positions, and no jumper at all, it is the only device connected by IDE.
