dvd burner questions

ok today i got myself a dvd burner im happy i needed it . Ok now i went to go under nero to burn a movie dvd with i was going to put my episodes of bleach on there. Well it comes to be that i can only put " .ifo, .vob, .bup " whoch i have never used this before so can someone give me a little heads up on what to do for this? i would like to play them on my dvd player.

DVD players only read DVD format. VOB is a DVD format.

You can buy DVD players which can play DivX

ok so .VOB is a dvd player format good thats all i needed to know for now .

you'll need to convert your video to a video object or VOB for it to be playable on a dvd player
