Default Dual-View

Is there a way to Dual-View two monitors and be able to play a game/run an app Full Screen on primary and then be able to move the mouse over to the secondary and type a message for instance, without minimizing the full screen app on the primary monitor.

Would something be doable with 2 video cards?

Nope not possible. The game would always minimize since you take the focus off of it and put it to the IM window. Would only be able to be done with XFire in game or Steam in game.

Would be nice to see a keyboard with 2 usb cables that allows you to press a button to switch between the two.

That'd be similar to a KVM switch .

Stardock: Multiplicity - Control multiple computers with a single keyboard and mouse

Is that what you are thinking of?

Synergy.

And you can play games on full screen just with the windows window around shouldn't be that bad.
