DSL Problem

Hello,

2 days ago we recieved a winter storm. Ever since then my dsl has been disconnecting, can snow cause this? My current dsl provider said there is static in my phone line now, I'm just wondering if snow or ice has any play in this? If so how long should it take to clear up?

I did several times. They ran a line check and found static, what can cause static?

Damaged lines can cause it. It probably won't clear up until they are fixed.

Also, check you inbox on your home's telephone line. Make sure it hasn't been damaged or tampered with.
