Hello, I am having a problem and I can't seem to find help anywhere. I have 3 DVD-ROMS, 1 CD-ROM and 2 Hard drives in my computer. One of the hard drives is split into 2 partitions. The computer was built in January and everything worked fine until about a week ago. I have no idea what happened but for some reason, 2 DVD's and 1 partition of the hard drive will not show up in my computer. Everything shows up in the device manager and in the bios. I can even access the hard drive partition from a shortcut I had made. The DVD drives show up in Nero and DVD Decryptor and I can even burn with them. I can't access the cd's though because the drives don't show up in my computer. It's just really strange. Computer Info:

ASUS A8V Motherboard
SIL 0680 ATA 133 Raid Card
AMD 64 Bit 3500
XP Pro with SP2
1 Gig DDR Ram

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

sapphy

what kind of hard drives are you running? if IDE...and your 3 DVD ROMS (why this many i have no idea...)....then you are hooking up too many IDE connection to your motherboard...

Hello, I ended up doing a clean install and everything is working fine again, no problems at all.
