I just got a Seagate 300 GB Firewire/USB2.0 external drive and am wondering (since it says no where in the instructions or on their website) that if I leave it on without anything being written to it (or turn the computer off), will it automatically shutoff? I left it on all night last night with my computer on and it was still "on" this morning - at least the blue light was on. Auto shutoff would be nice on this for what I am to use it for.
