Dodgey Gfx card?

Hi i got a new system about a month ago. Recently I've been getting these wavy lines on my screen. I suspect it may be a dodgy graphics card. I have a GF 6600 gt.

Thats an extreme case its been doing it mroe frequently btu now the screen pretty much always filled with those lines. :s help plz

Ok, check in display propeties the temperature of your card and post it.

Does if ever screw up during boot? If so its probably a hardware problem, but if it only shows up its probably a driver problem.

the temperature was about 47
and it occurs during boot aswell. dont worry about it though im taking it back to the shop and using my warrantee
