Display Troubles

I deleted the partion on my hard drive with all the data on it and reinstalled Windows XP, now at the start-up, the display settings are at the lowest,640 x 480 resolution and 4 -bit color, and it will not let change them, any suggestions to a solution ?

You need drivers.

Without knowing the stats for your comp (motherboard and chipset on it), I can't tell you where to go. But here's a place to begin...

Go here: http://belarc.com/free_download.html and download Belarc Advisor (it's free). Run it, and post what mobo you have, as well as graphics card if your computer has one (but I doubt that you do).

You are in need of all the drivers for your mobo, but maybe we can find 'em.

yea download ur drivers.and make sure u do a full reformat.

I doubt that you need to reformat. You are just missing your drivers. Replace them, and everything should work fine.
