Ok, here's the problem. I have two internal drives on my system. One is a 20 Gig IDE drive (No problems with that one) and a 500 gig SATA drive (Big problems). The 500 gig drive is partioned to 127 gig and I know why (The Winxp install disk is before SP1 came out).
My problem is that I want to partition the 500 gig drive. I know I can do this because I've done this before. My problem is that Disk Management doesn't see the 127 gig drive or the unalocated remainder of the drive, or for that matter my 20 gig drive. The only thing it sees is my CD/DVDROM drive. I'm able to see the 127 gig partition and my 20 gig drives in My Computer. There are no problems with booting my system. It's been fully updated through Windows Update. Everything is working fine. I just want to partition my 500 gig drive.

Go to your BIOS and set it to boot from CD. It's pretty easy to use once you're booted into it.
