diodes

was looking at my temps with pc wizard on my mums comp,, it gives me the cpu temp and under it the cpu diode temp,, the diode is always about 6 or degrees higher, the cpuu is a sempron,,, also on my other comp my 7900gt has a temp then a diode temp under,, the diode temp is 700 C ,, so thats obviously wrong,, just wondering whats the deal with the diode temps, what one should i monitor
