make sure you have directX 9.0c

and the newest patch for call of duty which should be 1.5

Ok i do have directX 9 and 1.5 i just downloaded 1.5 the other day. I ran the directX 9 video tests and they all went fine. Any other ideas guys?

there is a difference between DirectX 9.0 and DirectX 9.0c
DirectX 9.0c can be downloaded here (33.49MB)

It is an Evga Nvidia Geforce 6600gt.

yeah it's a SM3 card, so it will run best on version c of directX 9.0
