My computer was running fine. q6600 processer/ 3gb ram ddr2/vista/160gb SATA HDD/GT 9600 (W/ pci req) and 450 power supply....wasnt getting enough cooling so i got a new case.
Once i put it in the case it all boot fine, i swaped the 9600 out for a 9800 that dose not have a pci plug for the power supply (odd i know) the case i am useing is Nine Hundread Two. More fans and more lites. Was in the middle of instaling the drivers for the Video card and i went and pluged in a pair of headphones, now the headphones were in the front jack wich was wired into the HD Audio and FP audio port. I inserted the headphones and the comp instantly powered off. Now I cannot get it to power on. All the fans come on i get heat from the CPU and RAM. But no responce from power switch or reset switch no light even on the LAN port when i put a cable into there.
I then purchased a 750 watt power supply from Cosair and i see no change, however, one odd thing is the CPU fan spins but when i plug a fan into the rear fan plug on the mobo it dose not spin. I cannot find the jumper settings so ive left the battery out for a total of about 10 min. No change.
Now booting it on a slab of cardboard. 1 gb memory. The processer. No video card useing onboard to test for picture on moniter. I dont get a responce from the moniter at all by the way though any part of this. And ive tested 3 moniters....No beeps nothing.
Please...anyone....help....

this is from when it was working the only changes sence that was last working was just 19inch moniter - 22inch moniter, wich makes no change truthfuly
