Default desktop issue

i cant see mine desktop its all blank

and when it startup

its a internet explorer
problem comes up

What is your operating system?

Have you considered about reinstalling it?

I occasionally have this problem too. However nothing that a FORMAT and RE-INSTALL can not fix.

i have windows xp

so i cant install myself

ima hve to get it fix by someone else

Actually this isn't a hardware problem, in addition it seems to me that explorer.exe isnt initializing something is wrong in your winboot.ini file... all you have to do is press windows key + R then you should get a dialogue that says Run... Type Msconfig into the box, then set it up so explorer.exe loads on boot, on next boot you should be able to use your desktop, in addition if that doesnt work simply press control alt delete, enter the task manager under applications at the bottom right click new task and type in explorer, that should do it if you need any thing, just ask

i got my pc from those rent own things
how much does windows xp cost

if ur renting it then tell them to fix it, if they would say no to me i would toss the computer at the guys face and leave.
