Default DEP problems! help please.

Data Execution Prevention or whatever. my computer was running fine this morning.. ive even ran 2 Virus tests this morning.. and everything is clean. but now when i try to open folders or anything it comes up with DEP prevention. and i can't do anything. i even went into settings under computer system then advance tab then performance settings then DEP tab.. messing with those settings and it didnt change anything. I HAVE ALOT of stuff on this computer that i cannot lose. and sence i cant open any programs i cant burn the stuff on a CD or anything. what can i do.. it wont let me disable it.. and i cant open anything. anybody ran into this befor?

most of the viruses you get are running processes which mean you wont be able to delete it since its in use. My suggestion would be to slave your hard drive and run a virus scan on a different computer
