Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP monitor button not responding

Hi everyone,
I have a Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP monitor. The middle button that opens the Menu doesn't work. When I press it, nothing pops up - and in addition, I am not able to push the power off button after I press the menu button.

I have to pull the plug on the back to shut it off, and then I can put the power cord back in, and the power button works again. However, if I try to push the menu button again, nothing shows, and the power button is again nonoperational after this.

Any ideas why this may be happening? Thanks.

Bah, I bought it from a person on Craigslist a month ago... can't RMA. *sigh*

call up dell and see if there's anything they can do for you.
