Dell Studio One 5 beeps upon start up

Hello- My friend has a Dell Studio One 1909-after 5 beeps it fails to start up. Im not at all familiar with the studio one and I do not know what failure the 5 beeps is indicating. Does anybody have any knowledge or suggestions as to where to start? I checked to make sure the memory was properly seated and it was but I dont know where to go from there. Any Info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

That would defy the purpose of this forum...

5 beeps normally signifies that the CPU (processor) is bad. I'm afraid the only thing you can do is RMA it to Dell, if still under warranty, or replace the CPU.
