Dell Optiplex GX260 not recognizing new DVD drive

I'm trying to upgrade this old computer for someone. I have updated bios and such. The bios will not recognize the new DVD drive. Windows see's it but doesn't read any DVD I put in it. I'm assuming this is because bios doesn't see it.

He had a CD drive only before.

wep, this is problem in your bios.
Tell us about your bios and system info.
also tell us the jumper setting you have...?

Figured it out!! The pin in the back was set as slave. Had to move pin over to master
