I have this dell dimension 4600 motherboard Model A02 i was trying to build and sell it, but there is one problem. The mother board wont detect any of the hard ware. At first I thought it was the cmos battery which did enable key board detection but it still can't detect hd (ide) and optical drives. I'm thinking that since the mobo is old it just needs an updated flash bios since the now obsolete floppy disk drive is the only that hard ware the mobo will detect. What are the proper steps to updating the bios on a floppy disk? I have read online manuals but they are not very clear I just need a second opinion.
