Okay here it is:
First, the laptop ceased playing music through the built in speakers. However, I could still plug in my 1/8" audio jack from headphones or speakers and listen to music or whatever.
Although, I could put my finger on the outside of the jack and move it around and the sound would kick in.
Now, when something is plugged into the jack, it goes mono. Only the left channel is working. Sometimes the right and center channels will kick in.
It's as if something came unsoldered inside, but I don't know for sure.
What do you guys think? Would it be easier for me to take it somewhere and get it fixed, or just open it up myself and do it? How much do you think they would charge?
