Dead keyboard or faulty computer?

The keyboard on my computer stopped working suddenly could it be a computer issue or did the keyboard just crap out?

I do not have a spare to find out so I dunno what it could be

Is your keyboard USB or PS/2?

Might even just be the drivers, can you access BIOS or anything before your PC loads into Windows? If it says something like "Press F1 for Setup", press F1 or whatever key it says to get to the BIOS, if this works, you know your keyboard isn't dead, nor is your comp. If it still fails, then...bad things happen...but PS/2 keyboards are cheap and most likely the keyboard is the problem, so it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to pick up a cheap one for testing.
