DDR question

I recently bought a new motherboard for my brother's computer and i think i made a mistake because I saw the stats of this motherboard and the DDR standard was DDR 226(PCI 2100), i bought a corsiar and the speed was DDR 400(PCI 3200). It will work just fine right?..just so long as the motherboard standard isn't faster than the RAM or vice-versa? Well i just want to make sure, thanks in advance

PC3200 will clock down to PC2100 speeds. Your ok.

It will clock down, but that kinda sux cuz you cant use all of the potential of you're ram!
