A "Crysis" with my Hardware?

i read about that lol one group overclocked 3 8800 ultras together with an overclocked intel quad core to see if they can run crysis maxed out on that. they did, but only at like 35 fps.
 
He makes a great point though. How in the world did they develope the game? Does Cryteck have access to hardware yet to be seen by the consumer market? I still haven't finished the whole game yet, and as good as it looks with my 8800GTX OC, maxed out with DirectX10 (which I'm pretty sure I'm still running 9), I bet it will look absolutely mind-blowing. The way the mountains collapse in the distance while the fields up ahead are littered with gunfire and cannon fodder is truly a scene for the books.

EDIT: Here's a card more expensive than all three of their 8800 Ultras combined!
