crucial realssd BIOS

My crucial realssd shows up in boot sequence bios as removable device. no name just removable device? Whats the deal with that ?

The motherboard may need a bios update. Is the drive plugged into a sata port or is it plugged into a e-sata port? The ports will look the same except the e-sata port will usually be a different color.
