i just got a Zalman heat sync and fan "CNPS7700-Cu"
wich works great!!! it keeped my cpu at 35c, but yesterday i brought my pc 2 my friends for a lan party, turned it on........
every thing was fine till windows boot screen came up ,then my pc just shut down randomly....it did this for a while then i opened my case just 2 check all my plugins, everything was fine. four or five shut downs later my pc stayed on , so i checked my asus AI booster for temps and the cpu temp was sky high like 80c just idle
witch never happend befor. the only thing i overclocked in my pc is my sapphire x800 pro agp card with "red line" 475mhz core to
506 mhz wich the card can handle very well....
oh and the funny thing is when windows started after all those attempts all the windows visuals "appearance" were back at XP style .......and i had my pc at classique style so thats another thing that is weird.
ps, the boot sequence for the first attempt said something like overclock failed but just caught it at the last second.
so if you can help me it would be greatly appreciated
