Default CPU Fan

Alright, well the CPU fan on my HP (specs below) is basically dying. It is making a lot of noise, only runs on occasion, and isn't really doing it's job. My mom needs this computer for work stuff until she can get a laptop. Is there any CPU fan that will work with this computer and not cost a fortune, or is there a way we can fix the one we have now?

I won't be home for a while as I'm in college, but will this one work? My mom will have to go and buy it herself, and hopefully install it, or I can help her over the phone.
