CPU Fan.....

Anyway
I've had my new build for a while now..

I've just noticed, that my stock fan for my cpu
AMD phenom x6 1090t black edition @3.2ghz
Is the loudest thing ever, when i first got the computer it was silent, you could hear a snowflake drop on the floor

anyone know a reason why its suddenly got louder?

System specs:
NZXT Gamma case With one stock fan to assist Power supply
Phenom x6 1090t Black edition @ 3.2ghz
8gb G.skill 1800mhz RAM
GA-880GM-UD2H Gigabyte Motherboard
1TB Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000.C 3.5" Hard Disk Drive
LiteOn iHAS122 22X DVD-RW (Dual LR)/RAM SATA Drive
OCZ StealthXstream II 600W Power Supply 80+ Gold Rated

and i've been meaning to buy an SSD but my money keeps eluding me

I also have an ASUS Axe CPU Cooler- Still boxed up, i think it was around £80-£90
a few months ago
 
Its probably due to age.
Have you noticed any increase in temperature? If yes, reinstalling the past and fan may fix it.

If not, then its wear.
If he has had that original stock heatsink fan on with paste for the past 6 months he is due for a normal rechanging of paste.
Since he also said it has become more louder he may have some dust in his heatsink fins.

Artic-cooling on the original heatsink fan should do it justice and it will hold steady under 3.8ghz on normal warm days.
