Default ... CPU Dead?

Well... I had a leak from some unknown place in my PC... and so it died...

When I have the 2 4 PIN CPU power plugs, plugged into the motherboard, when I press the power button, the LED fans and mobo lights just flash and then turn off...

When I unplug them, the PC starts up fine...

So... is my CPU dead?

Also, the waterblock is making a weird squelching noise... its an EK Supreme

Only way to know is to try another cpu.

You will have to buy a cheap replacement.

You should probably let everything sit, taken apart, for a day or so then try again.

Is it possible that the PSU's plugs were damaged? or likewise, the mobos sockets?

I'll order a cheap proccessor in a few days to try and see it works

edit, posting a new thread for a more specified problem
