Default core centre giving funny readings

i built my pc 4 months ago with a AMD 3500+ now core centre on my MSI neo 4 it says cpu fan speed is 954rpm now the processor is at 45 degrees after playing CS:S so i think ok maybe a dodgy reading. I close the core centre program turn up my 5 case fans to full speed and reopen core centre and it says cpu fan speed is a 3000rpm. And now it sits here ideling its at 35 derees

What the hell is going on is my fan going bust or is this program given to me by MSI not working?

and yes 45 degrees is normal for my machine its always ran hot ever scine i built it!!!
