Cooling

My GPU gets too hot I need a cooling solution. I want to have a fan putting air in and an exhast fan at the back (hopefully) expelling hot air. I cannot ruin the front of my pretty case so was wondering if it would be effective cutting a mounting in the side of the case to house the intake fan? It would blow directly on to the processor. Would this work?

yes that would be an effective way of getting some airflow. i've done this mod quite a few times myself. personally i favour a dremel or a high speed rotary tool with a cutting disc, however that takes a bit of practice. i hear it can be done with a hole saw though i've never had any luck with that.

Anyways this shows many different fan setups and they test them all to show you the best methods of keeping the case cool.
