I have a Logitech QuickCam Messenger web-camera. I am running a new system and after installing Windows I had installed the drivers and my system would boot up and log into Windows, but then crash. This kept re-occuring until I went into Safe Mode and removed the drivers. Instantly my machine was fine (too bad it took me 2 formats). Anyways, I am unsure of what to do next, and I really don't want to drop a lot of money on a new camera. Any suggestions?

BTW, my PC specs are:

Asus P5N32 SLI Premium w/ Wi-Fi Socket 775 nVidia nForce 590 Chipset

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13 GHz 2MB L2 Cache Socket 775 CPU

OCZ DDR2 PC2-5400 667MHz Gold Extreme XTC 1GB Dual Channel

Maxtor DiamondMax 10 SATA (3.0Gb/s) 250GB 7200RPM 16MB Buffer HDD

BFG GeForce 7600 GT OC(580MHz) 256MB GDDR3(1.45GHz) SLI Ready PCI-Express x16 Graphics Card

Thanks in advance. ;)

BTW, I have the latest drivers off the Logitech website and the latest drivers for my chipset and Windows Updates.

I just tried the QuickCam STX and it's doing the same thing... with different drivers too.... anyone?!
