Prequal: I had a computer with a 478 Celeron 2.0. It stopped working and I didnt know what the problem was. I put in a different processor (dad's 2.6 Celeron) and it stilll didnt work. So the 2.0 Celeron is still working. I eventually fixed the computer.
The problem: My dad's computer stopped working and I dont know why. The CPU fan wont even spin. I replaced the 2.6 with the 2.0 from above (fan replaced too) and it still doesnt work. I unpluged everything from the mobo including RAM and left only the power supply plugs and the front panel connectors connected. It silll doesn't turn on. I also replaced the PSU, no luck. The HDD LED flickers really fast when the PSU is plugged into the wall socket, so I am pretty sure the PSU is fine. I am assumming from all this that the mobo is the problem.
Would you guys agree?
Is there another thing that my be wrong with it if it's not the mobo?
