Computer won't power on

My wife was having trouble with malware on her computer and I was attempting do a reinstall of vista and I'm not sure what I did. I went into the bios and switched the boot order to boot off of the cd and hit exit and save and the computer shut off. Now it won't power back on. I acts like it is trying to, every couple of seconds the lights will turn on and the fans will spin for a second but then just shuts down again.

Specs are as follows:
Abit IP35 Pro
Intel e6750
4gb crucial ballistix
Corsair hx520
evga 8800gt

What happened and how can I fix it? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried reseting the bios?
