Computer on Startup stays at Hardware Monitor

If it's flat out hanging up/powering down, it very well could be the PSU, some hard drives pull a decent amount of amperage, and it they can't get it, even though the system is running, the drive wont spin up properly. This could be the cause of the blinking cursor and the random shutdowns. Or, you have an other issue such as overheating at the same time as the connection between the hard drive and motherboard went flaky.

I fixed it, being a "noob", I often leave things hanging, I left the CPu attached but not fully locked in when I was taking it out and putting it back. For some reason, even if its attached and not fully locked in, it turns off at hardware monitor stage. Goodness, I better freshen up on fixing computers, every time I fix one problem, the way I fixed it, brings up another problem.
