computer problems

I noticed that my lighted fans started dimming when my hard drive ran.
I opened the case to make sure that my hard drive wasn't pluged into my fan control power plugs. It isn'st. I have an Antec case with an Antec 500W power supply. When I went to start it back up after checking things out; now I have no video. The board fires up but my monitor just sits there in sleep mode. Is my power supply too small or going out? This is all that I have in my case.....

possibilities are you need a new Power supply.

Do you have a multimeter to monitor the voltage levels?

Did you by chance shock anything when you opened it up?

maybe u knocked ur video card loose

reset the ram and reset the cmos and/or pull the battery.

I don't think I knocked anything loose or shocked the mobo. I guess I'll just double check everything and reset my CMOS. Thanks.
