Default computer problems

so i dont know whats wrong with my brothers computer it keep turnin off and freezin and now when you turn it on the monitor doesnt even get signal from the comp and it makes these beepin noises and then stops then when you press the power buttun to turn it off it imediatle turns off im preety sure thats not sappose to happen anyone have any idea wats wrong im prolly gonna end up buyin a new one cuse that ones kinda old anyway but i need to know if its a total lost so i can tell my parents any one have any ideas?

Among other things your CPU may have overheated, from what I understand in your post. It could be hard drive related, too. When something goes wrong, the whole computer is nearly never at fault, so save the components that work. Or, send them to me, and I'll save them.
