computer making noises

my computer is making this like growling noise i think. its been doing this for awhile. its hard to explain the sound, but its making this noise and it gets annoying sometimes. but if i just ignore the noise for awhile, it will stop and the computer will run quietly again.

Take the side off and locate where it coming from. But place your hand on metel before you touch anything inside so you dont short anything out. Static will fry parts. So ground yourself first. It could be your hard drive or CPU fan. That would be bad.
