Computer login problem

I got locked out of my laptop. My children tried to put a login in and password, which they forgot. Is there anyway to get back into my laptop?

if thats a seperate account from the admin account u should be able to boot up into safe mode and log in as the admin and remove the password or just remove the user and rebuild the profile...i dunno just somethin to try

Download "erd commander 2005 Trail" make a boot disk out of it and use the locksmith option to change the password
