Default Computer lights

Ok ever since i bought a new mobo/cpu/ram/case

when i turn the computer on from the switch it like makes all my lights on my computer turn on then off its like theres a shot of power going to the mobo then just dieing again untill i turn the computer on it works fine

is it supose to be doing this?

Normally when you first turn your computer on it gets a larger burst of power than when you are regularly using it, so it might be that.

not sure my light on my case just goes red as if ive turned my computer on then just goes back off again

Sounds to me like someone misconfigured the power connections from the case to the MB. Double check your MB manual to see if everything is connected correctly.

Oh the lights stay off? I misunderstood, I thought you meant they turn on then flicker off and come back on again, sorry.

na its when i turn on the plug socket the power L.E.D turns on then goes back off

So when you plug it into the wall?

Thats probably just the initial power "surge" as with the lights on the mobop itself.

When I power my PC up all the lites and fans come on for a second or two and then the PC shuts down and then a second or two later it powers up and posts. Works for me

yeah mine just like goes on then goes off and thats without turning the computer on by the power button it just does it when i turn it on at the wall
