Computer just crashes.

Well, with XP after awhile it being on.. if ur playing a game or surfing the net the screen will go black and it will like crash, where u have to reset the computer for it to come back on. it only does this on XP.. what is the cause of this..

Go into your event log and check for errors under Application and also under System. That usually tells you which device is the problem. Your description is a little too broad to just give you a definite answer.
