Default computer froze while tower boot

I was playing a game for about 3 minutes, then an aweful buzzing noise came from my tower, and now it wont boot 90% of the time, and when it does it says no keyboard detected and checksum error, and i tried plugging the keyboard into every usb slot and no go. Have i been dealt a fatal blow?

My 1st guess would be the power supply died.

Seconded. Could be a capacitor that blew.
