Last week my computer crashed while I was making CD copies. Since then the reader (TS H55ZB) has been unreliable.
Asking the computer to read or write CDs usually means that the computer then crashes.
Following one such incident, I couldn't get the machine to restart, so ended up taking it to a store to get rebooted.
On restarting the machine back at home, the modem was unrecognised and I had to reinstall the software for the modem and the internet connection.
All well and good until I logged off and turned off the machine. On restarting the computer, the modem is now a 'new' piece of hardware and the ADSL connection has been lost.
If I disconnect from the internet but keep the PC running, I'm ok.
I don't know what you need from me in terms of what system I have etc. but if you think you could help, please do!
