I built a new computer just recently and started to have these minor problems lately. When I get home from work, I turn on my PC and it doesn't seem to bootup on the first try. I hear the HD and the fan and all that, but my monitor won't load up anything on the screen. I don't know if it's the monitor or if it's an actual hardware problem inside my PC.

I just turn it off by holding the shutoff button for a while and usually when I try to turn it back on the second or third try, it works fine and boots up. Everytime after that, it works fine.

It just seems like when I don't turn it on after a while, it doesn't bootup...

How can I troubleshoot this?

My specs:

Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit
ATI Radeon 4890
OCZ StealthXStream 700W
i5
Gigabyte UD4P

Help?

Hm, try to troubleshoot it by taking everything off, but one ram stick, your gpu card and power. Could be a hard drive problem.

Might want to reset your Bios as well, now that I thought of it.
