Default Computer Case Static

I have an weird question.Well I have a meadol case {Forgot how to spell meadol sorry}Well I would touch my case and I would feel static i'm not sure if you can do damage by getting static from case.Planning on getting a case but cant afford one.It sucks because my power button broke so it is dangrous because I half to stick two wires toghether in order to turn the thing on.

Off topic . Well one time my pc froze on me had to turn it off by putting two wires toghether and gooooo I heard and shut off.Its scarey because when I screw something up cant afford what I have so I get this feeling in my ear like there gonna fall off.

Wish I can get a new case. Very scared my parents wont buy me one because they think im to intrested in computers.
Its sad because I love gaming and I atleast diserve a case.Computers is my life also school.

Goto radio shack and get a switch for like 2 dollors, and wire it up. Its not like a case is some expensive thing anyway, you can get a cheapy for 20-30 bucks.
