Compaq Drivers

I have a new Compaq Presario V3000 notebook, it came running vista and i decided to roll back to xp professional, however there are quite a few drivers that i cannot find.

Ive installed all updates from both Microsoft and Hp.

Under the device manager the devices are

Base System Device
Base System Device
Base System Device
Coprocessor
Other PCI Bride Device
Sm Bus Control

Any help in finding what these devices, or there drivers, are would be great.

You'll need to know your model number, not just series number (V3000 is a series of notebooks) in order to look up your drivers. Here's some instructions from Compaq's site on how to find your model number and look up your product:

Once you get to your notebook's download page, my advice is to download and install the newest version of everything on it so you're using the latest and greatest software available.

Yup, i have done that, my model number is v3230. There were only minimal updates available.
