Default Comcast is becoming Commy-Cast

I swear they toggle my internet speed. Has anyone noticed this that lives in or around Pennsylvania? My internet was superb until Comcast bought adelphia out. Then, it seems if I use about 1 gig bandwidth in a day, for the rest of the entire day my internet is like dial up. I'm not doing Bit torrent either... Anyone have any suggestions?

switch isp's or get their higher bandwith usage plans, they claim on some of their plans that they throttle or increse speed based on peak/non peak hours, maybe you are just using it during peak hours which is getting throttled

Still ****es me off. And they are the only cable ISP around here. It's either comcast or satellite, and I do alot of gaming, so that's never going to happen.

It really sucks when I heard people get caps on their bandwidth. I don't get capped but it sucks that the company is the only one around. If they did cap it, I'm back to slow internet.

Aww. I get a solid connection of 3000Kbps and 256Kbps.
Did you know 6500KBps is 52000Kbps or 52Mbps. Thats impossible in the US.
