Question Coby USB MP3

Hi was wondering if someone can help me out with a problem i am having. A friend asked me to fill there Coby USB MP3 player with songs. The Player says it is a 1g memory, but when you open it up in my computer it says it only has 124mb. But when you start the mp3 player up, it show a bunch of songs on it that i cant access or remove. Any ideas would be helpful.

If you access the player through the PC when you have View Hidden files and folders, you'll probably be able to manipulate the files.

That, or you may have to format it. It's a last resort type of thing, though.

I havent tried formatting cause i dont know how that will work with the mp3 player. I have tried showing hidden, but there is nothing there. The computer says it is only a 124mb drive. It is a very odd setup.
