Default Chip Set Fan died / Read Me ... Help Me

So my chipset fan died on me. Made some weird noises for a day or so before it finally went to the scrape piles. Any Advice on what is a good chipset fan to get as a replacement or must I get the same one that origanally came with my motherboard ASUS A8N-SLI?

First off, you should know better than to double post.

It is a common problem for A8N-SLIs to have their chipset fan die on them. If you want to keep your warranty, you best be RMAing that, as replacing that fan/heatsink will void your warranty.

I did a bit of reading and it seems that the Zalman NB47 chipset fan/heatsink is a mighty good replacement.

You should send it back to Asus and then replace the fan if you want to. Asus fixed the fan with a new one now.

As I posted in the other identical thread...

This is a cheap and silent solution. It'll work even better if you have an intake fan on the side of your case.
