check my sata!!!!

So can any of u people check this Attachment and confirm me if my sata hdd is working on sata mode or not?

The HDD itself is listed under ( Disk Drives ) not under IDE..etc controllers , so check it out.

And if u bought a SATA HDD , what makes u believe it wont be working like SATA ?

what maakes me feel not sure.

hi

when i first put on my computer before i log on windows,
bios dislays all my info, when i check for the hard drive,

bios displayes it like this : "IDE ATA 100 @ 7200 rpm" . even ive
connected it to a SATA port on my motherboard.

bios could have displayed " Yeah ure sata hdd @ 150MB/s @7200rpm" but no.

thats what makes me not sure. But anyway i've check Maxtor wesite for suppport and the way i install my hdd is good,i had followed alllll the instruction so it should be on the sata mode.

Note :Ive not played with bios as all was "AUTOMATED"
(i.e bios detects all automatically)

Well ive just download a prog "Drive fitness tester" i'll see what it will say, i'll test the data transfer speed if its high then i'll be hahahaha. if low so .........!!!!

but still iam not sure.!!!
