Default cd rom drive


My cd rom wont work.

I have windows 2000 but it sees 3 different cd rom drives installed which I cant get rid of .. And also It does not read any cds. It has power but just cant read the data..

Any ideas???

The other cdrom's are probably rom drives from programs like Alcohol that allow you to play backed up copies of your games.

But the main thing is cdrom still wont work . what do you suggest??

drive inside cleaning, bios firmware upgrade.
